She attended Selye János High School in Komárom before pursuing her passion for acting at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest. Since completing her studies, Borbély has established herself as a prominent figure in the Hungarian entertainment industry. She currently resides in Hungary and is a member of the prestigious József Katona Színház company in Budapest. Her breakthrough moment came in 2017 when she received widespread acclaim and recognition for her performance in the film "Body and Soul," earning her the European Film Academy Award for Best European Actress at the Berlin Film Festival.
